Operations early-warning cockpit
Stock about to run out, a region behind pace, a discount outside the rules: flagged each morning and assigned to an owner.

Context
A multi-site distributor with regional sales targets and stock spread across locations.
The problem
Stock about to run out, a region falling behind pace, a discount outside the rules: each used to surface weeks later, in a report, once the damage was done.
The constraint
Stock about to run out, a region behind pace or a discount outside the rules each surfaced weeks later, in a report.
What we built
- A cockpit: month-end forecast by region against target, priority alerts quantified in money, and a morning brief
- An alert sheet: the facts from the ERP, the projected stock-out, recommended actions, assumptions to check and a time-stamped follow-up of every action
- An assistant on the phone that answers in plain language, with every figure checked against the data and its sources shown
How it works
Sales, stock, quotes and supplier orders are read from Sage and compared with the monthly commercial targets held in Excel. Alerts are quantified in money, assigned to an owner and followed up with a time stamp. An installable phone app sends push notifications and answers in plain language, with every figure checked against the data and its sources shown.

Manufacturing executive cockpit
Sales, margin, cash and supply chain read nightly from SAP, from the P&L waterfall down to each product range.
Constraint. Figures lived in SAP and in forecast workbooks and were assembled by hand each month.

Five-entity group cockpit
Management no longer waits weeks for an assembled board pack. Consolidated P&L, budget and working capital, live from the ERP.
Constraint. Five entities, an on-premises ledger and a board pack assembled by hand after month end.

Projects and stock platform
Every site followed from signed quote to final payment, with materials reserved from the quote and stock that stays right.
Constraint. No ERP behind it: the platform is the system of record for projects and stock.
