Context

The revenue and reservations teams of a hotel group, who keep availability consistent across channels and partners.

The problem

Closing and reopening sales has to reach every channel and every partner. Revenue management needed one place to decide, to see what is open where, and to prove who changed what.

The constraint

Closing and reopening sales has to reach every channel and every partner, and revenue management must be able to show who changed what.

What we built

  • A three-week availability grid: rooms to sell and the status of each channel (open, closed, minimum stay, rate surcharge), with inventory detail on hover
  • An audit log of the day's changes: before, after, who and when
  • A recap e-mail sent to partners, grouped by category and date range
  • Excel exports by channel, and access rights by hotel and channel

How it works

The PMS exports availability daily, collected through SharePoint and Power Automate. Revenue management opens or closes room types by channel and date in a single three-week grid. Each change is logged with before, after, who and when, and a recap e-mail goes to the partners, grouped by category and date range.

What changed

Revenue management decides in one place, sees what is open where, and can prove who changed what. Partners receive the recap without anyone writing it.
