Context
The sales and revenue teams of a hotel group that receives group requests for several hotels.
The problem
Group requests were priced by hand in Excel, with no consistent check against capacity or forecast. Two people could quote the same request differently.
The constraint
The rate grid lives in Excel, maintained by the Revenue team, and every quote has to respect it, along with promotions and capacity.
What we built
- A monthly cockpit: request volume, automatic qualification rate, quoted and confirmed value, conversion funnel and value by hotel
- A night-by-night quote built from the rate grid, with the promotion, a discount chosen night by night and the price frozen at approval
- Twelve qualification checks and a full revision history on every request
- Live qualification when a request is entered: verdict, rate rule applied, indicative quote and the rooms the system would hold
How it works
Rate codes and availability are imported daily from the PMS. An occupancy-forecast model is synchronised through its API. When a request is entered, twelve checks produce a verdict. The quote is then built night by night from the rate grid, with a discount chosen per night, and the price is frozen at approval.
What changed
Two people no longer quote the same request differently. Every request is qualified against capacity and forecast before anyone prices it.

Resort group revenue cockpit
The PMS has no API, so the team rebuilt its KPIs by hand every morning. Reports now load themselves before 9am.
Constraint. Opera exposes no API, so scheduled e-mail reports are the only reliable source.

City hotel group cockpit
Each morning, management knows where the month will land against budget, from one set of figures reconciled with accounting.
Constraint. Hotels reported on separate timetables and group figures were assembled afterwards.

Stop sales cockpit
Closures by room type, channel and date in one grid, with every change logged and sent to partners automatically.
Constraint. A closure must reach every channel and partner, and each change needs an audit trail.
